This is about as bad a setup as Real Madrid could have walked into. Mbappé is a doubt even after passing medicals — and a half-fit Mbappé in a Clásico is not the Mbappé you want. That's a spine of the team missing. Barcelona, by contrast, get Raphinha back and only have Yamal and Christensen unavailable. Home advantage, fresher squad, title on the line. Madrid can absolutely nick these games — they always carry a threat on the counter and pride alone gets them up for it. But asking a patched-up XI to go to Camp Nou and win outright, when the opposition only needs a point and has the better side available, is a tall order. The draw actually looks the more interesting Madrid-friendly outcome. I'd swerve a Madrid win at anything short of a big price.
