San Antonio has made a statement in this series. They didn't just win Game 2 — they obliterated Minnesota by 38 points. Then they walked into Target Center and took Game 3 on the road. This team is not flinching. Wembanyama is the best player on the floor by a margin that is showing up every night. His interior dominance has been relentless, and Stephon Castle has been playing like someone who forgot he's a rookie. De'Aaron Fox gives them a legitimate half-court closer when things get tight — Minnesota has no answer for that combination. The Wolves aren't dead. Edwards is cleared and dangerous, and a desperate home crowd on a season-saving night generates real energy. But Edwards hyperextended his knee recently and wasn't himself in Game 3, DiVincenzo is gone for the postseason, and that backcourt depth problem doesn't fix itself overnight. The Spurs own the league's best road record for a reason — they travel well and they don't rattle. Minnesota needs everything to go right; San Antonio just needs to play their game. Back the Spurs — they're the sharper, deeper team, and Wemby is operating on a level no one Minnesota can put on him is equipped to handle.
