Drafts locked in, lanes controlled, mid-game fights closed out before opponents even settle. That's not variance, that's a side operating at a different level entirely. The head-to-head is already settled. Liquid met Falcons in this same group and came away 1-2, and they haven't shown anything since to suggest that gap has closed — they dropped a map to a weaker side and lack the same clinical edge Falcons bring every game.
