G2 have done everything right to earn their status here. Wins over M80 and Monte aren't just ticks in a column — they show a team finding its rhythm at exactly the right moment. With huNter- and NertZ capable of taking over any server on the planet, the individual firepower alone is on a different level to what FUT Esports can answer. FUT deserve genuine credit for grinding past B8 in three maps — that takes composure. But B8 is not G2. Stepping into a Major elimination best-of-three against a veteran European squad is a completely different beast, and the areas where FUT will feel the squeeze most are exactly where G2 are sharpest: mid-round utility, map control, and punishing teams who play reactively instead of dictating. The honest caveat is that BO3s can be cruel. One hot half from FUT on map one and suddenly it's a dogfight — Majors always throw up at least one shock per stage. But across a full series, G2's depth and big-stage composure should be the difference. Back G2 — the talent gap is real, the recent form backs it up, and there is no compelling reason to be on the other side of this one.
